OUR COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) RESPONSE
Manna Food Center’s Community Food Rescue program is currently rescuing and distributing food! We are staying safe and still delivering. We continue to work closely with County officials and peer agencies to make sure we are operating in effective and safe ways.
We have expanded our program to help meet the needs of Montgomery County residents who are impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. Volunteer food runners are now transporting Food For Families from Manna’s warehouse to the homes of our food-insecure neighbors who can’t or shouldn’t travel to distribution centers. We employ minimal contact delivery — food runners pick up at Manna and drop the food outside the door, ring the bell, and go.
